Betty MacDonald fan club newsletter November includes the updated Betty MacDonald fan club essays ' Betty MacDonald in Hollywood' and ' Betty MacDonald and Dorita Hess '.

There is also an article about Betty MacDonald fan club letter collection.

We got very important info regarding the original 'The Egg and I' and the way Betty MacDonald described her first husband Robert Eugene Heskett and their neighbours.

Many greetings from Betty MacDonald fan club organizer Linde Lund.

We are very happy that Betty MacDonald fan club got so many fans in 40 countries.

At the current time I'm rather busy because my father got a very serious heart attack some time ago.

There is reason to be optimistic according to the doctors but we need lots of time and patience.

Therefore I'm really very grateful that author Heiderose Teynor is going to support us with activities on Facebook establishing a new site promoting her literary work ( which I adore ) Betty MacDonald fan club and Vita Magica.

Thanks a million dearest Heiderose!

Now let's introduce our good friend and author Heiderose Teynor!

My name is Heiderose Teynor. I live with my family in Neckarsteinach near Heidelberg.

I’ve studied history and politics at Heidelberg University and I was always interested in journalism and wrote my first articles during my study. Later I worked on short stories and started my writing career.
I adore criminal stories with meaning and understanding, when the reader has to reflect about it.

2. My favorite writer:

I like Donna Leon's stories in book form or on TV.

3. The kind of literature:

It is not very easy to write good stories, and a teacher said to me “You can do anything, just do not get bored!” I try to entertain my readers that they cannot stop. In holidays I visited Italy and the Tuscany. I love these old towns like San Gimignano, Siena or Pisa. Another aspect is my home region round Heidelberg. Visitors from all over the world visit this town, the castle and the river Neckar. So why is it so much interesting? I tried to research it.

My book “Im Bann der Omertà” is about my home region around Heidelberg and the Tuscany. It is a story about organized crime and the duty of silence. The special feature in “Im Bann der Omertà” are the regional stories both around Heidelberg and in Tuscany.

4. My opinion to Betty MacDonald

Betty MacDonald’s “The Egg and I” is very funny and amusing as Betty MacDonald wrote about her childhood and youth, and later about her experiences at the chicken farm. This is a wonderful gift to describe everyday life like she does it! Some other people would not even see it, but she was able to write a whole book in a very amusing and witty style.

I heard about Betty MacDonald and The Egg and I in Vita Magica from Wolfgang Hampel. Through facebook and net I met Linde Lund. It is very interesting to attend Vita Magica last Tuesday every month. The program is always very interesting with quiet different writers and musicians.

5. My appearence in Vita Magica

I will read together with other writers on 30th of May 2017, when Heidelberg is on program and with “Im Bann der Omertà” I will be guest reader on 28th of November 2017.

Yours,

Heiderose Teynor

Fat. Pig. Dog. Slob. Disgusting animal.
These are just some of the names that Donald Trump has called women over the years. Yes, a man who's hoping to become President of the United States and presumably persuade a few women to vote for him, too.
The billionaire has been widely called out for his objectification of women - he has a tendency to criticise them for their looks - and sexist remarks.

Betty MacDonald's grandmother Gammy would say: He is a pig and he really is.

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle shouldn't try to change him.

It's a waste of time.

I totally agree with this. Now he is warning of a possible World War III that Hillary might start.

This guy is really crazy!

I totally agree! You can't vote for a guy like this.

The way he behaves is a joke - but a very bad one!

A guy like this should live in Mrs. Monday's boarding house.

Betty MacDonald fan club organizer Linde Lund and Betty MacDonald fan club research team share their recent Betty MacDonald fan club research results.

Congratulations! They found the most interesting and important info for Wolfgang Hampel's oustanding Betty MacDonald biography.

I am neither Christian enough nor charitable enough to like anybody just because he is alive and breathing. I want people to interest or amuse me. I want them fascinating and witty or so dul as to be different. I want them either intellectually stimulating or wonderfully corny; perfectly charming or hundred percent stinker. I like my chosen companions to be distinguishable from the undulating masses and I don't care how. - Betty MacDonald

To the degree that his statements reflect reality, it is unlikely. Trump's entire outlook is financially based and wars are very expensive. This seems to match his non-hawkish positions on every front.
  • On the Iraq war, he claims he was against it from the start (in reality it was after the war had started) and he claimed it would destabilize the Middle East.
  • On North Korea, he wants to leverage China to solve the North Korean situation:
  • On Iran, he is willing to "police" the Iran nuclear deal as hard as possible, but not "tear it up" as others have stated.
  • On Russia, he is already making friends with Putin while his GOP competition states they would punch Putin in the nose.
  • On Syria, he wants to see Russia take care of ISIS while his GOP competition wants to carpet bomb the entire region.
While Trump doesn't seem to be hawkish, he talks big, states he wants to increase military size and strength. With terrorism, he claims he would he in favor of killing the families of terrorists and go beyond waterboarding.

George Gonzalez
George Gonzalez, USA!, USA! most of the time, when we're not dropping bombs on poor browns.
Because he’s an irresponsible and impulsive and angry hothead, that’s why. He has already made statements off the cuff about defaulting on the USA’s debt, undoing NATO, starting a few wars at home and abroad, , and worse.

Andrew John Weeks
Andrew John Weeks, *something provocative* and I'm ahead in the polls... Sweet.
Immediately? No. No-one will declare war on the US just because Trump is elected.

From a more cynical/world view position one could argue that WW3 has already started. Just look at the middle east. We see ISIL/ISIS/IS/Daesh/whatever you want to call them. Then Russia has started bombing Kurds. Turkey is shooting down Russia jets. NATO/Coalition bombing, especially in Syria. Massive disagreements around Assad.

So yeah, I don't think WW3 will erupt if Trump is elected. I think it already has, we just haven't realised yet. We have a real life battle of the 5 armies.

Well there are a couple of places Trump has gotten himself into trouble in terms of foreign policy. He has advocated for starting a trade war with China by imposing various tariffs and by plunging both the US and China into recession.
Here's a good article to illustrate how The Republican front runner plans on tanking our economy.
Donald Trump has also spoken about how the nuclear option is something “he wouldn't rule out” to fight terrorist groups. He has also spoken about how we should allow other various countries including Japan, Korea, and Saudi Arabia to own nukes as well.
Here's an article about Trump’s thoughts on nuclear proliferation.
These positions he has taken, and many more like it, lead many people to think that a Trump Administration would lead to a decline in the international community’s respect for the US as responsible, respectful allies.
I hope this helps. There are probably other reasons why Trump might take us into a new World War, but these are the two I could think up while at work!

Jeff Schwartz
Jeff Schwartz, I've been a voter in more Presidential elections than i care to admit
Look at how Trump has jumped to declare that Egypt Air flight 804 was caused by terrorism before all the facts are in. Now, this certainly could wind up being a terrorist act (as I am writing this they have still not declared as such, they are just finding the wreckage and no organization has taken credit for bringing down the plane), but it can also be something else. He dangerously speaks before he has all the facts. And even when facts seem to be known about things, he still declares he knows different ( he broached the idea Anton Scalia was murdered, Ted Cruz’s father was with Oswald before the Kennedy assassination, that Obama was really a Muslim, that the U.S. government was involved int he 9/11 attacks, Muslims marched in Jersey City after those same attacks, vaccines cause autism and on and on.) all of this is dangerous misinformation.
Acting before thinking or disregarding facts because of your gut is not the behavior of a Commander in Chief. It could get us into a war very easily

While I don't honestly believe anyone in present times is stupid enough to start a global war. I do believe Donald Trump stands for all of the wrong things politically in a time where standing for the wrong things could mean ticking off the wrong people and starting a firestorm.
As a Canadian I don't even understand the anti-Muslim rhetoric im with the sign holder!
Islam is almost a quarter of the population globally...
Alienating the largest religion because some of the members of their group are trying to murder people in the desert over archaic laws. The basic stance of anti-Muslim in the most free country in the world is almost so insane I don't even know how it passed the joke stage.
Donald Trump, is very adamant on his plans for removing the "muslim problem" the way he talks about using the US ARMY to get things done is fucked up and it almost sounds like something you'd hear out of the mic of a redneck on an old MW2 lobby.
This is an image from a news cover back when trump announced his run for presidency.
What the fuck happened, how is anyone taking this shit seriously?
Trump is a reality TV KING
He understands that the majority of the american people are sheep, and sheep like reality TV. The candidate who most often wins on the show is the one with the most memorable personality the brash confident one.
He's playing on the hearts and minds of all the american people right now like a fucking reality TV show and it sickens me. He just says crazy shit but then flips 180 back to his core beliefs and they all eat it up.
Good luck America, I sincerely hope you don't let this happen to us because we'll be cleaning up after trumps mess for a long fuckin time.

I laughed out loud when I read this question. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad question. If you knew my opinion of Trump, you might find it funny too.

Trump is a joke, and the world knows it. He's treating the presidential election like it's literally a game of popularity. He only says what they want to hear. The democratic process in the US is pretty much a game of popularity, but it was always a battle of government policy. It was about the people considering the political reforms and policies of the next government, about how they would do things differently. It was about weighing in the intelligence and character of the next president. The prior presidental debates were professional. Trump has made it personal.

His proposals are laughable. His ideas are painfully simplistic. The real scary thing though, is that Trump is the physical representation of the sociological backwardness of the US. His polls say so. The only way he has made it so far is because they support him, they actually believe in him. This doesn't mean Donald Trump is incompetent, his family is admirable.

But to put this into perspective, the UK is currently debating on a petition of 573,000 signatures to ban Trump from entering the UK. I read that a couple days ago.

If Trump becomes president, he could start WW3. But that will only be because of a reaction from another country. This goes to show, we really shouldn't let a man like Donald Trump become President of the United States of America.

No WWIII, but a foreign policy straight outta the WWF, and gold trim on the White House. He's more like Berlusconi than Mussolini, he's more likely to make us a joke than a threat.
At least I hope so.

Elliot Honig
Elliot Honig, Jazz pianist, Psychologist for 30 yrs, now retired.
In the public appearances he's made, he has said some very reckless and thoughtless things.
He's recently said he's not going to honor our NATO agreement without more money from our allies, and he's advocated letting Japan and South Korea defend themselves, including using nuclear weapons.
Trump made statements about using a ‘carpet bombing’ strategy to defeat ISIS, thereby killing thousands of innocent men, women, and children. Furthermore, Trump has made inflammatory remarks about Muslims, causing further alienation among the people we actually need to defeat ISIS and other terrorist organizations.
He has proposed canceling the recent agreement with Iran regarding their nuclear weapons program. If Trump did cancel the deal, besides the ill will it would create, it would no doubt give Iran a clear signal to speed up their development of nuclear bombs. In my opinion, the cancellation of the Iran agreement may further destabilize an already unstable region, and invite other nations in the Middle East to develop their own nuclear programs .
Trump has put so many potentially disastrous and dangerous ideas out there, that it's difficult to imagine that there won't be some kind of war in our future if he's elected. He is spouting a foreign policy viewpoint that promotes isolationism for the US. A policy that was prevalent just prior to WW II.

Bilal Rehman

Donald Trump's conduct has created perception problems abroad. He may be a well-meaning person but many of his out of the box solutions are highly questionable like building a wall along the Mexican border and making Mexicans pay for it. This has been criticised by former Mexican Presidents. The historic veracity and wisdom of what he had to publicly say regarding Pershing's decision of shooting of captured Philippino Muslim guerrillas with bullet heads dipped in pig's blood is also questionable. Over 50% of the Americans consider that his election as president will embarrass the US. Some of his public statements are considered as hate speech. Hundreds of thousands of British citizens do not want him to enter their country. He has to display greater maturity to ensure that he is more acceptable to both, the Americans and foreigners.
His welcoming stance on the Brexit results are at odds with not only the American establishment but also internationally recognized experts that it will weaken the west. So far, foreign perceptions place him in the extreme right. He has to prove with his conduct that his detractors have misperceptions.
If he attains the position of POTUS without changing his attitude, foreign embassies will be curious and worried regarding the future. He could initiate a brinkmanship cycle which could spiral out of control.
Any poorly handled faux pas by: POTUS Trump could spiral out of control and ultimately lead to loss of US prestige even if a WW3 does not take place.
He still requires mid course correction, better perception managers and a more deliberate, circumspect approach enriched by worthy advisors and official briefings.
However, it was truly amazing that his comments on the Turkish coup reflected the sentiments of the prodemocracy Taqsim Square crowd. He also has non intrusive views on Iraq and Libya. Additionally, he is optimistic regarding his interaction with Mr Putin. He has an impressive learning curve behind him. With his all pervasive dynamism, who knows he might be able to pull out the US from the bog of bloated anti terrorism obsessions and quasi cold war dabblings!

You could have a wrestlemania event Trump v Kim jung-il. Judges Rosie O'Donnell, Dennis Redman, and Vladimir Putin. Hair pulling allowed. I'd pay to see that. All the proceeds to Israel for settlements for starting the war with Iran.

By sending regular troops into the Syrian civil war where they accidentally clash with Russians. After that it doesn’t take all that much for things to start spiraling out of control.
The world already held its breath once when Turkey shot down an Russian aircraft that was trespassing its airspace. While nothing direct came of that, a “proportional response” or even self-defense by Russian plane against Turkish troops could have been construed as an attack against a member of NATO. We lucked out.

Sophia de Tricht
Sophia de Tricht, I've been in geopolitics for a long time and you, sir, are no politician.
I've always (jokingly) said that if we listened to Donald Trump, we'd be at war with everybody, but we'd be making a million dollars a year. We wouldn't really be at war with everybody, though. And that unconscionable hutt will never be elected.

Theodore R. Wade Jr.

In all practicable probabilities, no.
Even the president of the United States has restraints as to what he can and cannot order.
More than once, in history, people and groups have circumvented that, as Bush/Cheney and fabricated CIA reports, aided by Cheney insiders in the NSA, allowed the attack on Iraq for non existent WMD.
But it is an exception, difficult to do, even more difficult to repeat.
The probability of Trump winning, regardless of the media reporting, media owned and controlled by the One Percent, is somewhere between slim and none.
Republicans are approximately 26% of Americans.
Trump draws a substantial number of that, 38% (?).
You do the math.
The One Percent agenda of dumbing down America, as successful as it has been cannot overcome that math, without external intervention as in 2000.
I seriously doubt it can happen, in 2016, but also be assured, the One Percent, have no intention of retiring.
Their goal (Murdock, Koch, brothers etc) is to destroy and replace the democracy with an oligarchy.
Were that to happen it would only be temporary, like the monarchy of France in the late 18th century.
And the result in America in the 21st century, will be the same as the result in France in the late 1700's.

Considering that Trump is actually against the neoconservative wing of the GOP, the one that is advocating for active military engagement and regime change across the globe, this is a strange question.
Trump lays out a policy that is more isolationist and focused on internal problems that the US is facing, and has declared time and time again that he is against projecting military power in situations other than imminent threat to the US.
He talks more about being tough in negotiations and financial dealings with other countries, not using military force as a tool to resolve conflicts.
This doesn't sound like a very militant position.
It appears that the question stems from the innuendo that the media is creating around his personality, portraying him as a fascist type of a leader. He is a populist, and his demeanor does come across crass and egomaniacal. But when you listen to what he has to say (and it's extremely simple to understand, lol!), he is talking about reclaiming the right to actually be a determined and assertive negotiator leveraging economic and political tools, and not only be on the giving end of any international interaction.

Steven Rudin
Steven Rudin, Democrat/Independent,
I think other world leaders wouldn't take him seriously. Although, that could be dangerous. Some historians have written that the Cuban Missile Crisis was partially caused by Khrushchev's low opinion of JFK. He thought that he was inexperienced, and could easily be pushed around. I think he later gained respect for him. But, comparing JFK to Trump is like comparing Margaret Mead to Sarah Palin, or Einstein to Pee Wee Herman.

Trump wants to get rid of NATO; in doing that we will lose our Allies. The military at that point would likely go rogue and a coup would be possible. Trump wants to start trade wars with Mexico and China. That would lead to an enormous drop in exports and would damage the economy. At this time, our financial situation is being propped up by our ability to buy cheap Chinese exports. Not only would US economy probably collapse into a second Great Depression, but we will again take the rest of the world's large economies with us. Mexico is a huge trading partner. If we anger them we could start another US Mexico War like what occurred in the time of Teddy Roosevelt. If we cozy up to Putin, it will speed the rise of Iran. They almost have nuclear weapons capable of starting WWIII. Remember the stability that we do have on this planet, the reason we have not had another war, is US leadership in maintaining stability and peace. And if we leave North Korea to the discretion of China, we face a very dangerous scenario. China is already an increasing military threat to us. They are currently a threat to all of East Asia, as we see right now they have manufactured an island in the South China Sea. If they are able to control that area they are a huge threat to Japan (our ally) and the entire Asian continent. So the answer is that Trump would definitely and indisputably be a huge part and could actually be the biggest player in WWIII.

Charles J. Hunsinger

America could quite possibly be at war during Trumps’s tenure as President. Currently America has about 5,000 combat troops on the ground fighting ISIS, but they call it training and another 7000 paid contractors essentially doing the same thing. Obama prefers to call these people trainers. They are dying in combat missions however and we will not call it war.
ISIS was born under the Obama Administration and is now estimated at over 30,000 solders operating in 12 countries with worldwide reach to include the US. Although this Administration insists that ISIS is being contained it’s influence continues to grow with constant terror attacks around the world.
ISIS must be stopped and Obama is not stopping it so, it will be left to the next President, hopefully Trump, to put an end to Obama’s creation. Mrs. Clinton was instrumental in creating these monsters and would only continue Obama’s foreign policy of appeasement and an Islamic apologetic; the new Neville Chamberlains of the 21st century. Peace at any cost even the cost of freedom.
Russia, China, North Korea and Iran have all exploited the weakness or compliant foreign policy of the Obama Administration and are expanding their military reach and influence. China is building military bases in the South China Sea to control the vast shipping that traverses these waters, with the possible intent on controlling world trade.
Russia invaded and occupies the Crimea and threatens Eastern Europe. Iran, now much richer due to Obama, promises to destroy America and Israel. North Korea also is threatening to use an atomic bomb on the US. Obama, however, has declared war on American culture by declaring that bathrooms are gender neutral.
Any war that the American people and the next President of the United States face is a war started by Barack Obama due, either to his weakness or his complicit foreign policy to weaken America.
Sadly, under Obama, our military has also been decimated with fighter aircraft on the ground due to a shortage of parts. Our Navy is smaller then it was prior to WWII and the Army continues to shrink, not only in strength, but in moral.
The question should be: Why has Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton and John Kerry put the entire world on the brink of war?

Gary Stein
Gary Stein, History has been a hobby since High School.
It is my belief that if the unlikely event of Trump becoming President. That a Trump Presidency would end in either a resignation by Trump due to his frustrations with the limited powers of the Presidency which he will have a hard time coping with emotionally and pragmatically.
Or it would end in an impeachment on misuse of power charges when Trump attempts to bypass congress and international law (by attempting to force Mexico to pay for the wall) and by the use of executive orders to order the building of his southern broader wall. So he would be impeached before Congress would allow him to get us into WW3.

Think about this if Donald Trump does become president and deport immigrants out of the US first it violates their US Citizen Rights and mostly if he does become president and deports immigrants out they will have to go to Ellis Island and will go to Russia and Austria-Hungary and their allies too will attack us and he'll probably will get assassinated and we will attack along with our allies starting a real world war. Also Sophia said that Ireland is allied with America, that is false Ireland is neutral, shows how much she knows about politics here is a list (you will notice that Ireland is not in this list) Strongest Allies:-Israel-Great Britain-Australia-CanadaStrong Allies:-South Korea-Poland-Turkey-Japan-Mexico-Taiwan-Palestine-Thailand-Spain-Portugal-New Zealand-Hungary-Czech Rep-The 3 Baltic States (Lit, Lat & Estn)-Romania-Slovakia-SloveniaNeutral:-India-Iraq-Italy-Argentina-Brazil-Cuba-Russia-China-Greece-Finland-Sweden-Netherlands-Denmark-Switzerland-Norway-Iceland-Laos-Vietnam-CambodiaRising Allies:-Philippines-FranceSlpping Allies:-GermanyFoes/Enemies:-Iran-Yemen-Syria-North Korea-Bolivia-Venezuela-Lebanon

Nah, we'll all be too busy laughing at that asshole. I think he'd even get a chuckle out of Putin. Fortunately he's so absurd that he's only a distraction and not a realistic candidate. That assumes that all of the people who can read don't boycott the poles.

He is not going to win. It was proven long ago, that no ammount of money can change outcome of the election, if people don't like the runner to begin with. He is not the first mil/bilionaire to run, and not the last. They are just bored.
Hilary is going to win, whether that is good or not, well... we will see.

And to "IF": No, it will not erupt even if he would win. Total wars are history and no matter the idion in charge, US won't start war with anyone who could fight back. Not to mention, people of US do not vote for president, electoral college does, and they can vote however they like, no matter what people wish...

No Hillary Clinton is trying to start World war 3
A Hillary Clinton presidency will quickly usher in World War 3.
Michele Flournoy, the former Defense Department official whom Defense One calls “the woman expected to run the Pentagon under Hillary Clinton,” this week advocated for “sending more American troops into combat against ISIS and the Assad regime than the Obama administration has been willing to commit.” In an interview with that outlet, Flournoy “said she would direct U.S. troops to push President Bashar al-Assad’s forces out of southern Syria and would send more American boots to fight the Islamic State in the region.” She had previously “condemned the Obama administration’s ISIS policy as ineffectual,” denouncing it as “under-resourced.”
This week, Flournoy specifically advocated what she called “limited military coercion” to oust Assad. In August 2014, Obama announced what he called “limited airstrikes in Iraq” — and they’re still continuing almost two years later. Also note the clinical euphemism Flournoy created — “military coercion” — for creating a “no-bomb zone” that would entail “a declaratory policy backed up by the threat of force. ‘If you bomb the folks we support, we will retaliate using standoff means to destroy [Russian] proxy forces, or, in this case, Syrian assets,’” she said. Despite D.C. conventional wisdom that Obama is guilty of “inaction” in Syria, he has sent substantial aid, weapons, and training to Syrian rebels while repeatedly bombing ISIS targets in Syria.
No amount of war and destruction is never enough for these people.
Even U.S. military officials have said that these sorts of no-fly or no-bomb guarantees Flournoy is promising — which Hillary Clinton herself has previously advocated — would risk a military confrontation with Russia. Obama’s defense secretary, Ash Carter, told a Senate hearing last December that the policy Clinton advocates “would require ‘substantial’ ground forces and would put the U.S. military at risk of a direct confrontation with the Syrian regime and Russian forces.” Nonetheless, the Pentagon official highly likely to be Clinton’s defense secretary is clearly signaling their intention to proceed with escalated military action. The carnage in Syria is horrifying, but no rational person should think that U.S. military action will be designed to “help Syrians.”
But the fact that Hillary Clinton has a history of advocating more war and killing and support for heinous regimes and occupations is the one thing Democratic pundits have, with remarkable message discipline, completely ignored. From Bernie Bros to Sanders’ Secret Service costs to Hillary’s kick-ass, mic-dropping, slay-queen tweets, they’ve invented the most embarrassingly childish and trivial distractions to ensure they don’t have to talk about it. But now Clinton’s almost-certain defense secretary is already — months before she’s in power — expressly advocating more war and bombing and dangerous interventions. That makes the costs of a Clinton foreign policy — at least for those who assign any value to lives outside of American soil — much harder, and more shameful, to ignore.

There's two answers to this question and they're "yes" and "no".
The first response is based on the assumption that Trump is telling the truth, that he really is here to bring fascism to the States - with all the international horror that would bring. The latter is based on this: Trump is a salesman and a show-man. He knows who to pander to and he knows exactly how to do it to get a crazily loyal following (the sole purpose of which seems to be rough ego-caressing). If you don't mind some shameless self-promotion, I explore both possibilities in this blog post: Dynasty and Farce in D.C.: Perspective of a Brit No One Asked by Luke O'Brien on Paddy's Scribbles

You may not like Donald Trump, but he is nobody’s fool to have gotten where he is today. Looking at it from the Trump hater’s perspective, since (as you all say) he is all about the money and greed, it would make no sense to start a war and jeopardize his personal wealth with a WWIII.

From a more rational perspective, Trump is a consummate negotiator by virtue of his success. Say what you will about the man, he seems to always get his way when negotiating with people, institutions, corporations and entire industries. I would much prefer his negotiating skills sitting across from the Iranians, Cubans, Syrians and Russians to what we have had over the past 6 and half years.

No, there will be not be a WWIII if Trump becomes President.

If a relatively “stable” man like George W. Bush could lead us into a specious war under false pretenses, what do you think a loose cannon and master manipulator like Donald Trump would be capable of doing? The good thing is, so many people dislike him and don’t trust him, that even if by some horrible “anti-miracle” he became president, he would be constantly watched and kept in check by myriad forces. He would possibly be the most ineffective president ever, simply because everything he proposed would be second—and third and fourth, etc.—guessed, even by members of his own party. Sad to say, but he would have to be led around and watched like a small child at an adult party. Pathetic.

As a direct result of his election? No, I don’t think so. Declaring war on a country because you don’t like the result of its election is very hard to sell.
Will a major war start after several years of his disastrous foreign policy, of his neglecting a president’s responsibilities in that area, of Putin being encouraged to believe that we will abandon to him the NATO members who’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with us for a lifetime? Well that’s another matter.

My (short) answer: Yes, through The Donald’s sheer carelessness. During this campaign alone, Trump has already displayed a tendency to get distracted, an inability to admit he’s ever wrong, a capacity for holding grudges… the list goes on and on, and in fact fits well with the typical layman’s picture of a psychopath.
It’s hard to say if he’d actually start World War III by himself. Actually it’s hard to say with any confidence what he’d do in office, except that whatever it is it’ll always be to the greater glory of The Donald… and to hell with what anyone else cares or needs. That’s what so scary about him, and that’s why he’s too dangerous to be President.

Trump has talked of abrogating US treaty responsibilities and obligations. Here is exactly how a world war would get started, and lost, by him:
It's January 20th, 2017 and Donald Trump has just been inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States. In his inauguration speech, he declares that all US allies must either pay 5% of GDP towards defense or the US will abrogate its treaty obligations.
NATO countries call Trump's bluff and continue paying around 1.5-2.3% of GDP on defense. Russia, willing to also call Trump's bluff, begins a disinformation and false-flag operation against the Black Sea and Baltic States within three months. By July, Russia is poised to invade and Trump simply says "Well, I told you you had to pay and you didn't. Not my problem. Dos vedanya."
The Black Sea and Baltics fall rapidly to a combined Russian blitzkrieg/hybrid-warfare campaign. European nations still dedicated to NATO try to negotiate a cease fire, but Russia disregards and works towards taking Romania, Bulgaria, and parts of Poland. The Nordic Countries are holding a line but not in a position to attack. Turkey is still reeling from the coup and can offer no aid. Europe is now Russia's b*tch
Seeing that the US does nothing, Iran and China begin making their own moves. Trump waffles, and they take what they are after. The US's former key allies have all now been either defeated or positioned in such a way that they are unable to act. The US now has multiple clear and present dangers to the nation. The country is also in an economic depression as virtually all former trade agreement were abrogated in response to the lack of US action. And Trump is blaming everyone but himself saying it's not his fault we didn't stick by our friends and allies.
A North Korean cargo freighter flying a false flag sails to Los Angeles and detonates a nuclear device, irradiating the region and killing tends of thousands. Trump responds by firing all of the US nuclear stockpile at all of America's enemies, who respond accordingly. More than a billion die in the immediate nuclear holocaust and billions more do in the months to follow owing to disruptions in supply chains of key medical and consumer goods. The US no longer exist and South America and Sub-Sahara Africa are now the richest and most populous places on Earth.
Now, this is hyperbole. But it is also how Trump could very easily act if he is elected. We, humanity as a whole that is, cannot afford his ownership of the nuclear button.

Trump will almost certainly not start WWIII. However, he has expressed feelings of support or at least admiration of authoritarianism in many contexts (Putin, the Chinese and North Korean leadership, etc.) and skepticism regarding America’s commitments to allied nations. There is an argument to be made that the most important contributor to the relative peace of the modern era is American commitments to support allies against the aggression of stronger rivals. If this view is correct, then nations that wish they could use military force to conquer their neighbors may think that a Trump presidency is their best chance of accomplishing this. The result could lead to a global war much as the weakness of France and Britain combined with the neutrality of the U.S. set the stage for WWII.

Not directly due to Trump but he will likely miscalculate the long-term consequences of his actions which could lead to China filling the void in East Asia. This is one of the rare things that will unify Asian countries even if only in pee-spraying terror. Japan may panic and screw up really bad, if it ends up in an actual fight it will likely win due to technological superiority but will almost certainly take heavy damage to its economy and population. Korea will freak out too but not due to China, ultimately, there won't be war with its neighbor as the other Korea knows it won't win. South Asians will absolutely freak out. It would be comical if it weren't for the seriousness of the situation.
The Middle Eastners may get more aggressive with each other though but likely won't directly fight as they don't need too.
The Europeans will not fight. Russia will menace them but will not actually strike due to the slight logistical issue of occupying a continent whose population is 4 times larger than yours
All in all, people will freak out but nobody will actually attack eachother

The HUGE problem for millions of Americans and billions around the world is if the fascist Trump gets into office the American economy will face the threat of being totally destroyed !!! Just look what is already happening due the British EU exit ! That will be nothing compared to having a psychopathic megalomaniac in control of this country. His policies would be so every disastrous that even the suggestion of it's fiscal insanity is dangerous. Anybody who has hard earned savings or retirement investments would suffer extreme losses. Unemployment could skyrocket way beyond the last recession ! Thousands and thousands of sudden businesses failures. It puts the U.S. in a much worse position than countries like Greece or Argentina and also sparks an horrible international financial crisis, like none since the Great Depression, attacking the very underpinnings of the world economy. Once again, not only fail, but would have unintended consequences that would be disastrous to the American economy. Would this become the biggest disaster in American history or only the beginning of the troubles ? After Trump declares martial law, so many people's lives will be in danger and when he starts WW3, they will be horribly extinguished in a catastrophic Nuclear holocaust !

Not a chance in hell. WW with whom? He is an admirer of Russia and North Korea leadership. One thing people miss is, a war is an authorization of Congress and not an executive decision of the president, Trump is a business man, not a statesman.
There could be however a 'massive' Trade War with China and complete animosity with the EU, simply Trump will ignore the EU and fight China on trade.
One final thing is, expect US international relations to suffer greatly under Trump, the reason is he most likely will make very poor choices when it comes to his advisors and secretary of state can be the likes of John Bolton :)

Does world war 3 happen because of what is said about America from the leader in North Korea everyday? How about the Leader of Iran?

With that said, I think the world is smart enough to ignore a meglomaniac when they see or should I say hear, one. A lot of leaders say stupid things, and the world will just have to tolerate one more nut, I mean, they already do, they'l just have to work a little harder tuning him out..

We do not have Earth around wars of only two countries, USA vs world. Inhabitants of the nations' lands, properties have been involved in fighting to defend their places, habitats, in increasingly larger numbers coming annually to military ages buts from smaller numbers of property guards at their citizenship dwellings, passport authorities. One each of the photographed person.
The closer the neighbors, the closer the contacts. We cannot measure even the amount of probable votes that the Republican members will transfer toward the total county conventions for each State, DC and territorial delegations -- all with full complements of full-time, professional government employees and peers, branches and boles, trunks and roots as regards possessions. Lots of people are afraid of errors by USA machine operators for good reasons. Earth is living planet that grows us, bigger trees, but only endangered trophy hunters' prizes. Meanwhile, something like 6,000,000 insects live around each of us and in our food sources, the real beings that may convey happy honey bees' rewards where the daily fare is harmonious.
A nuclear disaster is no longer uncommon, mad science either, and disgusting extractions of transplant cells where people can see the disgusting experimenters at their workplaces that can be anywhere when say an on-duty flight controller learns his lunch was foal meat, from a horse hormone farm.

No, it's not possible for anyone to start a third world war. If I'm being pedantic (and who doesn't like that), we have had many more than two world wars. So unless we got Germany and some allies against England, France, Russia, and the U.S., it wouldn't be WWIII.
Donald Trump, even if he becomes POTUS would not be able to start a nuclear war or world war.

EDIT: I've had to amend my answer because of some video footage I recently came across.
My first answer said I believed Trump would start WW3 due to his Zionist connections. But in this video, Trump implies "they" (not defined) want to start WW3, but that he does not.
The relevant clip begins at 4 minutes, 39 seconds in case you'd like to see it yourself. If you click the play button, it should begin at that time marker.
Now politicians will often say one thing to get elected, then do the exact opposite once elected. That is entirely possible with Trump. But for now I will have to take him at his word.

Ahh, there it is. It is stated that:
1) Some poorly intentioned individual had such a thought (likely engendered by Mr. Trump's own bombastic and ill chosen verbiage) and then chose to give it form on social media
2) The poorly intentioned thought given form was echoed for various reasons across social media platforms.
Result: So Many Say This Thing.

Yes I think he could and very easily anyone think that this is a joke ? has forgotten the cold war as a kid or young adult. Those nukes are still given to the President. Everyone say he unelectible aren't think this out. So here is how Trumps wins Sanders need land side victories in all remaining primarys (not going to happen ) to even get close to win so he loses. Next all the young people will stay home because they will pout that their man didn't win. So Hillary who has proven to know how to be a diplomat will lose because those Sanders people will stay in. Hello Mr President Trump.
Now here the part that makes me wonder why people think this is not remotely possible. He has stated," I will Bomb the fuck out of them," if we ever got attached. He not talking planes he's talking nukes. We as a country are about to put a man that taunt his rivals and,"is and like to fight"(art of the deal) in power of the most destructive weapons on the planet. You all still say this is unlikely. If you still feel this way them put heads in the sand and kiss human kinds ass good bye.

Yes. Well I am not entirely sure because at any rate anyone could start WW3, Donald Trump has memes of him, people laugh at him, and my whole family and friends don't like Mr. Donald Trump. But I’m more focused on not letting Hilary Clinton win. So possibly its a yes. How? (I’m stating the facts that I heard from my friends) I hear he treats women wrongly. His wife doesn’t know how to speak English and also he’s racist. He just acts like a 2 year old. So if Donald Trump becomes president, could WW3 start as result? Possibly yes.

With everything that's going on in the world right now it might break out before the election. Do I think trump with step on toes and cause international incidents? Yes yes I do.

By making the sky fall.
Such claims prove the desperation of the far left.
Wars are always fought for profit; and Trump is a businessman, meaning that in the end he is always practical, and will do what is best for the country in terms of economic growth and GNP, while any debt will strictly be leveraged to this end. No desire for “glory” at others’ expense, to “write history in blood” of someone else, or to say “let’s you and him fight,” and then take credit for the “victory” achieved someone else’s death… or false honor achieved thereby.
The threat of nuclear war has been long past, and likewise there is no profit in war for the United States other than national defense— not the defense of private assets overseas, which are a question for domestic and private security, and UN protection of international waters.
Like the Founders, Trump strongly opposes a policy of international entanglements, and will demand that other countries stop depending on the USA for security— or at least pay for it…. unlike prior presidents who simply kept stepping the US into global quagmires, and subjecting us to foreign reprisals from nations like Japan, Germany, Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East.
So those who accuse Trump of presenting a risk of war, have no clue how it works; war is always a negative-sum game, and as a businessman, Trump works to maximize revenue, and so will avoid war anytime it can be avoided… which is always, since other countries are the same way.
In contrast, Hillary is the war-hawk who approved of the Iraq war, while Trump strongly opposed it; meanwhile Hillary is someone who has been shown to be personally violent against both her husband and the United States Secret Service agents, so I sure wouldn’t want her anywhere near something more lethal…. and there’s nothing more lethal than the US military, so God forbid she could become Commander-in-Chief of it!

Johann Saltzman
Johann Saltzman, Trump is a reaction to Democratic support for illegal immigration, asylum
On the one hand, he’s shown he’s terse, intolerant, under-informed, and prone to bad ventures and management decisions (e.g., four casino bankruptcies). That would seem like someone who could cause a world war if granted enough power.
On the other hand, after a lukewarm nod, he came out clearly against the Iraq invasion, by which we might infer he wouldn’t have started it.
People could use any of the first-hands to explain their apprehension, but we really wouldn’t know what he would do without unambiguous declarations beforehand, or after the fact.
Another reality is masses of people and nations are being pushed so far in a negative way that a large-scale calamity wouldn’t be a surprising result no matter who is president of the United States.

Original question: How would Donald Trump realistically cause World War 3?
Most likely by getting too stiff-necked with China over the South China Sea. It is of no strategic significance to the US and should be left to them without argument.

Currently as of 2016 there are only a few countries in the world that are NOT involved in a conflict or war of some kind. Something like a dozen give or take one or two this week. I don’t know how to define a world war other than the vast majority of countries being at war with someone? We are in a world war right now.
Could Donald Trump use nuclear weapons that would be met with other super powers and less than super powers using nuclear weapons on us as a response? OF COURSE. Also because that’s the only real factor that holds him back and because of his false sense of superiority it is almost guaranteed he will nuke someone to prove they won’t respond.

I can see where your coming from with that as he appears to be a robust and in your face leader will not under circumstances take no messing from the likes of Putin. At least that is how he comes over but remember Ronald Reagan or do your research was a very assertive politician in the 80s as regards American foreign policy but did that result in WWIII?

As far as I know though Reagan did not go round making statements like Trump and as to whether that is any guide as to how he will perform as President I cannot say. He may not even believe what he is espousing it maybe just to get the votes of a certain section of the US population who want something different from the Obama years.

Lets wait and see what happens.
